Handheld HDR photo of moving subjects
This is a handheld HDR photo that was made with three frames spaced at 2 EV increments. The three photos were taken in RAW, and were processed with Photomatix Pro software. I then imported the finished photo into Photoshop where I added saturation, and also masked out the face of the subject and the dog. HDR usually muddies up a person’s face, so in this image the subject’s face is clear and reflects only one image. The face is not HDR.

I love the rustic background and the intense look of your subject. I’m left wondering what he was playing…? Well done!
I really like the way you talk about the process of your photos. As a newcomer to HDR photography, it’s helpful to see the results and read the stories behind the photos. Thanks for the clear explanations!
